Bringing Our Lives Under The Lordship of Christ MISSIONS
Easley First Baptist partners with Hope Unlimited in Campinas, Brazil.
Noxon, Montana Easley First
Baptist has an ongoing relationship with Thursday, July 24, 2008 update from Jim Webley: This past week has been such a
blessing to me. I was able to see God's hand working through you and
the FBC congregation like I've never seen in any other church I've
ever been at. The way you all treated me with open arms and respect
has made a lasting impression on me and has given me a renewed
spirit as well. I've told my beautiful wife about all that had taken
place and she is excited to what God can do in Noxon through a
partnership with the people at EFBC. I hope you all will meet her
some day. We will start sending pictures and updates as soon as we
get home from NV. Thank you for seeing the need in Noxon and for the
support and prayers.
My family and I have spent the
first night at the trailer in Noxon. We will be going back and
forth between Troy and Noxon sorting through things to bring over,
and the rest we will leave for my aunt to use while she lives and
takes care of our place in Troy. The kids are excited to be moving
to a new place; they look at it as an adventure. I am so glad to
have a strong family. Things have been going well for BMC we have
been running about thirty people every Sunday that's up from the
twenty to twenty five that we normally run. I hope moving to Noxon
will have a positive impact on the Church and earn the trust of
the people here. Also, we baptized Sherry Jackson on the third of
August. She has been an inspiration to a lot of the people here.
Harley and Marilyn Laflin, our church strengtheners, have gone back
to Minnesota. We will miss them greatly. Please be praying that
the Lord will send us someone gifted in music to take their place.
Thank you and First Baptist Church, Easley for your prayers and
support.
