Bishop Michael R. Richardson is a native of Lake Wales, FL. He has been ministering for over 40 years. During this time he has fulfilled numerous positions in serving His Lord with the Call on his life. He has been a Pastor four times, and served as an Evangelist for most of his ministry. The Lord has continually used him as a powerful teacher throughout his ministry. He is highly respected as an anointed man of God.
A couple of highlights in his ministry are the times when he had the opportunity to serve as the Fareast Evangelist covering the areas of Korea, Guam, Japan, Okinawa, and the Philippines. The other time was as the International Evangelist in Europe covering the areas of Germany, England, Italy, and Belgium. He also served as Chairman of the Ministerial Examination Board in Europe. Currently he is operating in the ministry of an International Evangelist.
He was blessed with the opportunities to be the guest speaker for numerous conferences throughout the world. To name a few: the European Youth Camp, the International Ministry to the Military Warriors Conference, the European Ministry to the Military Spiritual Life Conference, the Fareast Ministry to the Military Camp Meeting, the Eastern North Carolina Ministry to the Military Rally, the Louisiana State Camp-meeting, and Keynote speaker for the nations Uganda, Burundi, DRC Congo, Kenya, Nigeria, and Rwanda Pastors and Believers Conferences.
He is married to the former Beatrix Schmitt of Karlburg, Germany. They have one daughter and one son, Manuela, and Michael Jr. They also have one granddaughter, Genevieve. The Richardson family currently resides in Winter Haven, FL where he also serves as a volunteer staff minister at the Village Church of God.
He is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. He is known as "Big Rev". His prayer has been and always will be, "Lord, anoint me to make a significant difference".
His education consists of a PhD in Organizational Management with Distinction (Summa Cum Laude), a Masters in Business Administration with Distinction (Summa Cum Laude), Bachelor and Associate of Science in Applied Management with Distinction (Summa Cum Laude) in which he was selected as the Valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA. He also has an Associate of Arts in General Studies with Distinction (Summa Cum Laude).
