We welcome you to our church. As the ministerial staff, we humbly attempt to take up the towel and basin of ministry to our church and our community. We treasure walking with our people through every facet of their lives. We take seriously our calling to shepherd our church into the future. We seek to follow Jesus as His disciples; He is our point leader. We simply try to discern His voice, and, then, say, “Follow Him!”

John Adams Pastor Dr. John Adams was born in Bryan, TX and raised in Shelby, NC, where he attended Lily Memorial Baptist. John is a graduate of Furman University, Southeastern Seminary, and Baylor University. He enjoys spending time with family, biking, and reading. John's passion is to invite everyone to the banquet table of Christ.

Rick Baumgarner Minister of Music Rev. Rick Baumgarner was born in Seneca and raised in Walhalla, SC, where he attended College Street Baptist. Rick is a graduate of Furman University and Southern Seminary. He enjoys spending time with family at Lake Keowee and watching his boys play ball. Rick's prayer is that God would use him to help others discover the joy of singing the Lord's praise as they serve Him.

Jordan Simon Director of Youth & Families Jordan was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, SC. He and his wife, Kayla, have had the privilege of growing up leading worship together in church, and they love doing ministry together to this day. Jordan completed a school of worship program at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC, and then went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Music Worship Studies from North Greenville University. Jordan and his wife’s heart is to serve others with passion and compassion as they follow Christ’s ultimate example of true, biblical love.

Tina Corn Director of Children and Famlies Tina Corn is originally from Spartanburg. She is a graduate of North Greenville University and holds a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Tina has served in ministry for over 20 years ranging from summer camps, missions, and church staff positions.The Children's Ministry at Easley First Baptist is created with you and your children in mind. Our goal in every environment is to build strong families by partnering with you as you lead your child into a growing relationship with Jesus. We have designed each ministry area to be exciting, creative, fun, and to capture your child's imagination - all to be a catalyst for a memorable, impactful, and applicable message each week.
