We welcome you to our church. As the ministerial staff, we humbly attempt to take up the towel and basin of ministry to our church and our community. We treasure walking with our people through every facet of their lives. We take seriously our calling to shepherd our church into the future. We seek to follow Jesus as His disciples; He is our point leader. We simply try to discern His voice, and, then, say, “Follow Him!”


John Adams Pastor Dr. John Adams was born in Bryan, TX and raised in Shelby, NC, where he attended Lily Memorial Baptist. John is a graduate of Furman University, Southeastern Seminary, and Baylor University. He enjoys spending time with family, biking, and reading. John's passion is to invite everyone to the banquet table of Christ. jadams@efbc.org
Rick Baumgarner Minister of Music Rev. Rick Baumgarner was born in Seneca and raised in Walhalla, SC, where he attended College Street Baptist. Rick is a graduate of Furman University and Southern Seminary. He enjoys spending time with family at Lake Keowee and watching his boys play ball. James Pitts Minister of Pastoral Support Dr. James M. Pitts, a native of Washington, DC, is a graduate of Furman University, Southeastern Seminary, and Southern Seminary. An experienced pastoral counselor, he has worked in both congregational and hospital settings. His professional expertise includes crisis counseling, substance abuse intervention, and career guidance for persons in ministry. Jim and his wife Nancy are the parents have two adult sons and two daughters-in-law: Stewart (deceased) and his wife Kelley, and Jonathan and his wife Jackie. They are the proud grandparents of three grandsons, Will, Jon Walker and Colton, and a granddaughter, Lilli.
Bryce Williams Minister to Students and Families Rev. Bryce Williams was born in Roanoke Virginia and graduated from James Madison University. After college, he graduated from the Baptist Theological seminary of Richmond Virginia with his Masters of Divinity. Bryce and his wife Waverly Ann enjoy exploring the world and seeing the beautiful creation that God has made. They love to develop deep relationships and hear the story of Christ that is in all of us! bwilliams@efbc.org
Tina Corn Director of Children and Famlies Tina Corn is originally from Spartanburg. She is a graduate of North Greenville University and holds a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Tina has served in ministry for over 20 years ranging from summer camps, missions, and church staff positions.The Children's Ministry at Easley First Baptist is created with you and your children in mind. Our goal in every environment is to build strong families by partnering with you as you lead your child into a growing relationship with Jesus. We have designed each ministry area to be exciting, creative, fun, and to capture your child's imagination - all to be a catalyst for a memorable, impactful, and applicable message each week.
