Day 4

Our second drive into Chicago was not quite as crowded as our first. We started Tuesday entering the city and heading toward Navy Pier. We had a Seadog cruise scheduled from 945 until 11:00. Our guide on the cruise, Andy, was a huge hit with the kids. He entertained us while also giving a great deal of information about the skyscrapers in downtown Chicago.

Day 3

Monday began with our gathering at the bus early so that we could leave Indianapolis and begin our trip into Chicago. Along the drive we passed through a large field of windmills. We were all awestruck as we entered the city and saw the skyline of Chicago for the first time. The Willis Tower, or old Sears Tower, is the iconic image many of us think of when we think of Chicago.

Day 2

Our youth choir represented First Baptist Easley so well this morning. The church in Louisville was very receptive to our youth not only from a musical standpoint, but also their personality, their manners, and their faith. Several people in the church commented on the way they radiated the messages they were singing.
