Loading Day

The big blue Ionosphere bus arrived this morning at First Baptist about 6:30 to receive the luggage, Bibles, snacks, and supplies we are carrying to New England.

Those here to help load were Chris and Dave Clark, Ben Massingill, Cathay Rodgers, Rick and Betty Roe, Andrew and Abby Robertson, Harry Moritz, and Rick Baumgarner. I wish we had had Arnold Schwarzenegger there to help load some of the bags. Honestly!! We met our bus driver, Scott Wilson. Scott has driven for youth choir tours in the past. It was good to see a friendly, familiar face. The supplies we packed will be taken to the Kurn Hattin Home for Children in Westminster, Vermont and the Bibles we loaded will be shared with the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility in South Burlington, Vermont. If this group of 42 travelers eats all the food that was loaded on the bus this morning, we will need a larger bus on the drive home! The travelers meet the bus at First Baptist Church on Saturday morning at 8:30 AM. Please pray for The Sanctuary Choir as we depart to share the gospel through music.
