We all woke up excited about our trip to the Schlitterbahn water park today. Well, at least most of us did!. You reach a point in your life when putting on a swimsuit in front of a bunch of teenagers is not an experience you relish.

The Sheraton breakfast this morning in San Antonio was delicious! Finally, we had a later start than normal. The extra time gave kids a chance to rest a little longer before getting started for the day.

We turned the corner and began our trek towards home this morning as we said goodbye to San Antonio. Janie, our tour guide yesterday, told us that San Antonio is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation. We can see why. There is so much to do and the people are so friendly; always willing to help. But let’s be honest-dry heat or wet heat, it is still HOT!
