The big blue Ionosphere bus arrived this morning at First Baptist about 6:30 to receive the luggage, Bibles, snacks, and supplies we are carrying to New England.

Our group began the tour by gathering beside the bus, in the parking lot at First Baptist. We chartered a bus to transport us to the airport in Charlotte. Several non-touring choir members joined us to pray and wish us their blessing before we departed.

In many ways Boston is reminiscent of Charleston, South Carolina. Boston has beautiful, historic churches on nearly every corner. We were blessed to sing in two of those churches on Sunday morning, June 12.

Monday was to be our longest, freest day of the tour. It began with a Boston Duck boat tour at 9 AM.

Today marked our departure from Boston as we headed out of the city to Peterborough, New Hampshire. We loaded the buses, read our Tour Creed, said our goodbyes, and headed northwest toward New Hampshire.

Thursday, June 16 began with a trip to the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility. We had been scheduled to sing there, but found out just before tour that we would not be able to come inside the prison.

Although we were excited about the puffin cruise, when we woke with the cool temperatures on Friday, June 17, we were partially relieved that we would be on a shorter 2-hour harbor cruise rather than a 3 1/2 hour puffin cruise.

On Saturday morning, June 18 we left our northern most point on tour, Bar Harbor, and started south. We left at 8 AM after gathering at the bus and saying our tour creed.

Sunday morning, June 19, started out cold and cloudy in Portland. We gathered for breakfast and prepared to lead worship this morning at the Cathedral of Saint Luke in Portland, Maine.

This morning we amended our departure time from the hotel and left at 9:30 AM for Salem. This meant that we would have about an hour before our “Cry Innocent“ show at the Old Town Square in Salem.
